Yes. You can renew through your dashboard with auto-renewal, or manually extend your plan whenever needed. Settings carry over when you upgrade or renew, so no reconfiguration required in your tools.

Residential proxies use real IP addresses from internet service providers (ISPs) and actual devices (laptops, desktops, smartphones, etc.). They allow you to hide your real IP and change your geolocation.

Key benefits:

  • Online anonymity and protection from tracking
  • Bypass geo-restrictions and access blocked content
  • Web scraping and data collection without detection
  • Manage multiple accounts safely without bans
  • Run advertising campaigns reliably

Unlike datacenter proxies, residential proxies are more trusted and harder to block, with millions of IPs across thousands of locations worldwide.

ISP (alternative residential) proxies are issued by internet providers but hosted on dedicated servers. They combine the trust of residential IPs with datacenter-level performance and stability—ideal for long-term account management where the IP must stay constant.

Rotating proxies: IP changes per request, per time interval (5/10/15/20 min), or on demand. Best for web scraping, multi-account management, and avoiding detection.

Static proxies: IP stays constant for the entire session. Best for accounts that require a stable IP identity, ads, fintech, verification flows.

IPv4: 32-bit format (192.168.0.1) with ~4.3 billion addresses. Widely supported but becoming scarce.

IPv6: 128-bit format (2001:db8::8a2e:370:7334) with ~340 undecillion addresses. Future-proof but less universally supported yet.

For proxies: IPv4 is more compatible with most websites and services, while IPv6 is cheaper and abundant.

HTTP/HTTPS: Best for web browsing, web apps, and data collection. Encrypted with HTTPS.

SOCKS5: Universal protocol for any traffic type (games, torrents, messaging, FTP). More flexible, lower latency, but not encrypted. Supports TCP and UDP.

Two flexible options:

  • Username & Password: Works from any device. Use login credentials to access proxies.
  • IP Whitelist: Simpler setup. Add your IP to the whitelist, then connect without credentials. Fast and secure for static locations.

Important: Each IP in your whitelist can only be used once. To reuse an IP, delete the old proxy list first.

Common formats:

  • IP:Port – For IP authentication
  • IP:Port:Username:Password – For username/password auth

These formats work with most tools and software. If you need a specific format, contact support.

In your dashboard, when generating proxy lists, select your rotation preference:

  • Per request (new IP on each request)
  • Per time interval (every 5, 10, 15, or 20 minutes)
  • Sticky session (no rotation, same IP for the duration)

This approach is more stable, fast, and reliable than manual IP rotation.

We maintain 30M+ residential IPs and 15M+ ISP IPs collected legally and ethically from around the world. Availability depends on time of day and your proxy list parameters.

Simply check your IP on a site like whatismyipaddress.com. If the IP differs from your real IP, proxies are working. You can also verify in your system:

  • Windows: Open cmd and type netsh winhttp show proxy
  • Chrome: Settings → Advanced → Network → Change proxy settings

Possible causes and solutions:

  • Restart your device and router
  • Clear DNS cache (ipconfig /flushdns on Windows)
  • Check for IP leaks on ipleak.net (WebRTC, DNS leaks)
  • Verify browser proxy settings aren't conflicting
  • Check firewall/antivirus isn't blocking connections
  • Contact support if issues persist

Yes! Your configuration is saved when upgrading to a higher plan. No need to reconfigure your browser, tools, or settings.

It depends on your proxy type:

  • ISP proxies: 1 thread per proxy
  • Residential proxies (rotating/static): Unlimited threads
  • Mobile proxies: Unlimited threads

Check the following:

  • Verify your balance/package hasn't expired
  • Check if firewall, antivirus, or VPN is blocking ports
  • Wait a few minutes—the system auto-checks every 5 minutes
  • Try connecting with a different proxy from the same range
  • Update your browser or reinstall it
  • Clear browser cache and DNS
  • Verify proxy settings in your browser aren't conflicting
  • Contact support if the issue persists

Absolutely. We always try to meet users halfway. If a proxy isn't performing, contact support with details and we'll provide a replacement or find an individual solution based on your situation.

Yes. Our proxies are fully anonymous—they mask your real IP and don't reveal proxy usage. Proxypick follows strict Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and never shares user info with third parties. However, anonymity also depends on how you use proxies (e.g., avoid logging into personal accounts with sensitive data).

No. We carefully monitor IP quality and actively remove duplicates. We run constant rotation of online addresses, automatic cleanup of used servers, and automatic IP replacement to ensure zero duplication.
